My interest in photography began in my teenage years, when I bought my first 35mm film camera, a 'Zenith 19', I loved this SLR camera, even though I had no knowledge of photography at the time.
The camera took beautiful photographs with a roll of Kodak or AGFA colour film. Once the roll of film was finished (about 24 shots), I would take it to the local chemist, who would then send the film away to be developed. It wasn't until the prints came back that you saw the quality of the photographs. The wait and anticipation was intense.
Let's jump forward a few decades, my love of photography is even stronger. I love the technological advancement of the digital camera and lenses. The portability of photographic lighting and the post processing required to add those final touches that make a photograph a work of art. Photography is a skill, that fuses art and science together.
My photographic toolbox now includes, digital cameras, various lenses, portable lighting equipment and modifiers. It is these tools, knowledge and skills, that enable me to deliver a quality service to all my clients, at the right price.
As a photographer it is essential for me to continually keep my knowledge, skills and equipment up to date, so I can deliver the best possible service and experience to my clients.
